The Guinea Grass community library came as part of a project for the Guinea Grass community the project was the Guinea Grass Multi-purpose Centre. The Multi-purpose Centre had a different division for the rooms and one was elected for the Guinea Grass Community Library. It was inaugurated on March 12, 2014. The project was founded by the Belize National Library Service, Social Investment Funds (SIF), and The Ministry of Education Youth and Sports. Since then, the library has been working for the benefit of all villagers living in the community providing many services both educational & recreational.
The library's capacity is 25 to 30 people. It is always a pleasure to have kids reading
